Biographical

Sylvia Dolena is a master consultant with expertience in helping large corporations and small businesses improve their perform- ance by getting hard business results. Her expertise is in simpli-fying complex issues for easy resolution. With over 27 years of business operations experience and small business ownership,, her consulting solutions and coaching come from "having been there."

Sylvia has worked in a variety of industries including transportation, import and export, manufacturing and high tech.
Her client short-list includes AMD, Best Buy, General Dynamics, LA Gear. Sylvia started her career as an accountant then to software programming, then to systems analysis and design, then to managing an IT department.

Sylvia has a B.S. in Computer Science from University of California-Sonoma, an Executive MBA from USC, an Executive MS from Stanford University and IESE, European Business University in Barcelona. Biographical

Pat Duran is an independent consultant specializing in leadership coaching, business start-up, change leadership, innovative meeting design & facilitation, and conflict resolution. She has over 30 years experience with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50, in diverse industries. She is passionately committed to assisting clients in achieving their results.

In 2009 Pat and her partner started Accelerated Women Entrepreneurs to help women create the work they love. Their workshops and coaching get rave reviews.

Pat worked 11 years with Hewlett-Packard businesses and coached leaders to achieve long-term vision, strategic plans, major organizational change, high-functioning teams, and resolution of conflict between organizations. She was a key contributor to Hewlett-Packard's Garage Works (full-service innovative meeting and rapid decision center) and Decision Accelerator (used for planning the HP-Compaq merger). She facilitated several HP/Compaq teams through their merger planning. She was also co-developer and facilitator of HP's Consulting Skills Workshop and train-the-trainers program, resulting in the training of 1000+ consultants.

Prior to joining HP, Pat worked for a number of consulting firms, including Eclectic Solutions, SofTech, Yourdon, and Pat Duran & Associates (her own firm). Her clients include AT&T, General Motors, IBM, HP, Alcoa, Southern California Edison, McDonnell Douglas, Pacesetter, Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Skyler Technologies. Pat got her start doing software programming, then systems analysis, and then Business Process Reengineering.

Pat has a B.S. in Psychology from Fordham University and is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She is also certified as an NLP coach, a Dream Coach ®, a "Too Young To Retire" coach, and a Grief Recovery Specialist. She is also a licensed True Purpose ™ coach and NLP health certified.
